Discover the sweetness of  Iman (Faith)-💚 Allah

“Whosoever possesses three traits within himself will taste the sweetness of faith: One who loves Allāh and His Messenger more than anything else; one who loves another person solely for the sake of Allāh; and one who hates to return to kufr (disbelief), just as he hates to be thrown into the Fire.” — A saying of Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, No. 16)

This is the bottom line.

To find the sweetness of faith, you first have to love Allāh more than anyone, more than anything. And even when you love someone, it has to be solely for the sake of Allāh. Anyone can claim to love Allāh, but as we all know, there is a big difference between saying you love someone and actually acting upon that love.
So, how do we show our love to Allāh?It is by following His rules in the Quran and following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

One way is to get to know Allah and by doing so one can learn His Beautiful names [AL Asma Ul Husna]
"And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them." (Qur'an: 7 Surah al-Araf The Heights, verse 180)

Above is a link I recommend for you to explore the 99 beautiful names of Allah by their attributes. There are immense rewards and benefits to learning and memorising the beautiful 99 names of Allah, as it brings us closer to Him and strengthens our relationship with Allah. Each name has a specific meaning that reflects the attributes, characteristics and compassion of Allah SWT. We as Muslims recite Allah's names on a daily basis, in our prayers and Duas for forgiveness, comfort, protection, good health, guidance etc.

"Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." [Sahih Bukhari Hadith}

By following Allāhs guidance, means that we need to understand the teachings of our faith and act upon them, even when we are presented with difficult or unpleasant choices that require us to make sacrifices for His sake. Say, 'Alhamdulillah'.

Maybe you have faced such dilemmas in your own life…like deciding not to attend your best friend’s wedding because you knew that some activities there would be displeasing to Allāh. Say, 'Alhamdulillah'.

You stayed honest, even when lying was easier—and you stayed chaste, even when it felt like everyone around you was in a relationship.
Such choices are not always easy and do not always represent what the society around us favours. Say, 'Alhamdulillah'.

But when you love Allāh more than anything else, it becomes much easier to show your love in practical terms. And once this becomes your way of life, your heart will become much calmer; it will even dislike what Allāh has prohibited on its own. Ask Allāh to help you, to make it easy for you.

Remember that our time in this world is short, and it won’t be long before we meet Allāh SWT in the Hereafter, so let us take every opportunity to please Him before that day comes. Aim to be among the people whom the angels greet at the gates of Paradise with the following words:

“Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final abode.” — Sūrah al-Raʿd (Qurʾān 13:24)

“O Allah, provide me with Your love and the love of those whose love will benefit me with You. O Allah, that which you have provided me of that which I love, then make it strength for me in that which you love. O Allah, that which you have removed of what I love, then make it a free space for me for that which you love.”

Allāhummarzuqnī ḥubbuka, wa ḥubba man yanfa`unī ḥubbuhū `indak. Allāhumma mā razaqtanī mimmā uḥibbu faj`alhu quwwatan lī fīmā tuḥibb. Allāhumma wa mā zawaita `annī mimmā uḥibbu faj`alhu farāghan lī fīmā tuḥibb …...................................................................................................

Strive for Balance

“In this world, women and perfume have been made dear to me, and my comfort has been provided in prayer.” — A saying of Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ (Sunan al-Nasāʾī, No. 3939)

In this ḥadīth, Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ is teaching us a very important lesson. Enjoy the blessings that Allāh SWT has provided you with in this worldly life. It may be that you like art, fashion, travelling, or trying new kinds of food among your other interests. Very well, enjoy every single one of them. Cultivating your interests is actually a means of thanking Allāh for the blessings of this life (and for the blessing of life itself). Dress neatly, and apply perfume. Be kind to your spouse, and show love to him or her. The Prophet ﷺ himself expressed that his wives were among those dearest to him in this life, yet it was prayer that gave him comfort. Enjoy your worldly life while pleasing Allāh and following His guidance. Love your spouse but for the sake of Allāh. Enjoy your money, but also give to the poor. Study, work, and socialise, but remember to love Allāh more than all that. Pray, fast, and read the Qurʾān, but don’t play the role of a monk. There is no such thing in Islām. Islām is meant to help us achieve balance in life. By following its noble teachings, we become people of faith who gain the tools necessary for building a better society.

“But seek, through that which Allāh has given you, the abode of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allāh has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allāh does not like corrupters.” — (Qur'an, al-Qaṣaṣ, The Stories 28, verse 7)

When you love someone, you want to be with them all the time, you want to talk with them all the time, you think of them often, talk about them all the time. And do whatever we can to make them happy. Well do you not love your Creator?
